Gazella | Gardevoir
Art by Monmon @ Trisphee
Name: Gazella
Age: 21
Level: 84
Gender: Female
Type: Psychic/Fairy
Aesthetics: Eyes- Golden Yellow, Hair- Spring Green with Turquoise tips
Personality & Background: Upon first meeting her, Gazella can come off as distant and cold. If you manage to break down that large wall laced with trust issues, abandonment issues and paranoia, you'd come to see that Gazella is very calm and collective and rather nice..most of the time. With only very few people will she ever be able to come off as 'playful', and with others they will feel that she is a bit 'spiteful' or 'too forceful' with her actions. She tries not being bossy and has good intentions but it often, unintentionally, comes out as the former. There are even times where she feels completely apathetic and won't show her face for days on end.
Like all Gardevoir, Gazella was undeniably loyal to her trainer. She wanted the best for him and was viciously protective. In her spare time, she'd wander and eventually crossed paths with a Blaziken who had a seemingly never-ending thirst for battle. The two of them spent time here and there, despite the former trying to shake Gazella off his tail. Regardless, the two became friends. Her trainer had been kidnapped one day and Gazella took it upon herself to go and rescue him only to find out the terrible truth. It was all a setup. Her trainer was never in any real danger and wanted to trap her so the crooks he was working for could capture her and perform cruel, genetic experiments on her. She was caged for days on end, with little to no nourishment. Any interaction was met with harsh punishment and painful tests. Gazella was certain this was how she would die. By some stroke of luck a fellow Pokemon was able to escape and enlist the help of a Blaziken who had been hot on the trail looking for his friend. Ever since then, she stayed in his company, ever loyal to him for saving her life. Despite the two's conflicting personalities, they got along well and little by little Gazella was warming up to the idea of having friends once again. During their adventures, they'd encounter numerous pokemon who would eventually become like family to her.
Miscellaneous: She can be drawn without her 'wing' mask, but she often keeps it on to cover some of the scar over her eye and to cover her shame. There are scars on both her legs, which is what those red stripes are, they need to be drawn. Her kimono dips off one shoulder. One eye should almost always be covered.
Love/Love Interest?: She has strong feelings for Bel, but hasn't spoken about them to him.
